The Aussie Peptides label

- 1
Coral spine + hexagon mark
Every Aussie Peptides vial carries the same coral spine and molecular hexagon so a genuine vial is recognisable at a glance.
- 2
Compound, strength, fill volume
Printed in a fixed position on the cream label — compound name, strength in milligrams, and vial volume.
- 3
LOT + EXP fields
Hand-stamped per batch and matched to the Certificate of Analysis you can look up on our CoA page.
- 4
Lot-tested by RP-HPLC — research use only
The compliance line appears on every label, on every SKU, without exception.
Copper & repair blends
Same batch-tested material, different presentations. Higher-strength vials lower the cost per milligram; blends arrive pre-combined in a single lyophilised cake so one reconstitution covers both compounds.
Laboratory handling · Research peptide
Usage & handling guide
A standard lyophilised research peptide. Reconstitute gently, aliquot for single use, and keep the stock cold and dark.
- Reconstitution
- 2 mL bacteriostatic or sterile water for a standard bench stock
- Stock concentration
- ≈ 5.0 mg/mL (10 mg ÷ 2 mL)
- Storage once reconstituted
- 2–8 °C, upright, protected from light
- Stability window
- Use reconstituted stock within 14–21 days at 2–8 °C; freeze single-use aliquots at −20 °C for longer holds
1 · Equilibrate before opening
Let the sealed vial reach room temperature before breaking the seal. Opening a cold vial draws in moisture, and lyophilised peptide is hygroscopic.
2 · Add diluent down the wall
Direct the diluent slowly against the inside wall of the vial rather than onto the powder cake. A fast stream shears the peptide and lowers recovery.
3 · Dissolve, never shake
Swirl or roll gently until the cake is fully dissolved. Vortexing or shaking foams the solution and denatures peptide at the air–liquid interface.
4 · Inspect the solution
A correctly reconstituted stock is clear and free of visible particulate. Cloudiness, fibres, or a film indicates the stock should be discarded.
5 · Aliquot for single use
Split the stock into single-use aliquots in low-bind tubes and label each with compound, concentration, LOT and date. Repeated freeze–thaw is the most common cause of lost potency.
6 · Record against the CoA
Log the LOT number and the batch Certificate of Analysis reference alongside your results so every data point is traceable to a tested batch.
Figures above are worked examples for bench preparation only. Always calculate your own working concentrations from the strength printed on the vial, the exact diluent volume you added, and the batch assay result on the Certificate of Analysis.
Safety & handling cautions
- One freeze–thaw per aliquot — repeated cycling is the most common cause of lost activity.
- Always calculate working concentrations from the vial strength on the label and the exact diluent volume you added.
- Wear appropriate PPE, work in a clean and controlled area, and dispose of vials, sharps and unused stock in line with your institution’s waste procedures.

In depth
KPV in Australia — research notes
KPV is the C-terminal tripeptide fragment of alpha-melanocyte-stimulating hormone, supplied as a 10mg lyophilised vial for Australian laboratories studying inflammatory signalling and epithelial-barrier models.
- Three-residue alpha-MSH fragment (Lys-Pro-Val)
- 10mg lyophilised per vial, >=99% HPLC
- Also supplied inside the KLOW blend
Research context
As a three-residue sequence (lysine-proline-valine) KPV is unusually small, which is why it appears in oral and topical delivery studies as well as injectable research models. Published work focuses on NF-kB and inflammatory-cytokine pathways in colonic epithelium and dermal tissue.
Solubility and storage
The tripeptide dissolves readily in bacteriostatic water; 10mg in 2mL gives 5mg/mL. Small peptides can adsorb to plastic, so glass or low-bind vials are preferred for diluted working stock. Store lyophilised material at 2–8 °C.
Where it sits in the catalogue
KPV is the component that turns the GLOW blend into KLOW, so laboratories comparing the two often stock both. Every vial ships from our Australian storage and dispatch facility with a lot-matched certificate of analysis and cold-chain packaging.

KPV 10mg — frequently asked
What is KPV?+
KPV is the C-terminal tripeptide fragment of alpha-MSH, supplied as a 10mg lyophilised research vial. HPLC verified to >=99% purity with a lot-matched certificate of analysis. Aussie Peptides supplies KPV strictly as an in-vitro laboratory reference material — it is not a therapeutic good and is not for human or veterinary use.
How pure is Aussie Peptides KPV?+
Each KPV lot is analysed by RP-HPLC for purity and by mass spectrometry for identity, and is released against a ≥99% purity specification. The result belongs to that lot: the number printed on your vial maps to its own Certificate of Analysis, so the figure can be recorded alongside your experimental data rather than assumed.
How is KPV 10mg reconstituted and stored in the lab?+
2 mL bacteriostatic or sterile water for a standard bench stock That gives a working stock of roughly ≈ 5.0 mg/mL (10 mg ÷ 2 mL). Reconstituted vials are held at 2–8 °c, upright, protected from light, and use reconstituted stock within 14–21 days at 2–8 °c; freeze single-use aliquots at −20 °c for longer holds Sealed lyophilised 10mg vials are stable long-term at -20°C.
Is it legal to buy KPV in Australia?+
KPV is supplied in Australia for in-vitro laboratory research only. It is not approved by the TGA as a therapeutic good and is not sold for human or veterinary consumption. Purchasers must be 18 or over and are responsible for handling, storage and disposal under their own institutional and legal requirements.
How much is KPV 10mg and how fast does it ship?+
KPV 10mg is $99.00. It is in stock and dispatched same business day on orders placed before 12pm AEST. Shipping is A$12.95 express Australia-wide and free over A$199, sent discreetly packaged and fully tracked, typically 1–3 business days.
What does the research on KPV investigate?+
Published work on this class focuses on tissue repair, cell migration and inflammatory signalling in in-vitro and animal models. Nothing on this page is a dosing protocol, medical advice, or a claim of therapeutic benefit — it summarises what the published literature examines.
