Copper & repair blends

Same batch-tested material, different presentations. Higher-strength vials lower the cost per milligram; blends arrive pre-combined in a single lyophilised cake so one reconstitution covers both compounds.

Laboratory handling · Dermal research peptide

Usage & handling guide

Light- and oxidation-sensitive. Reconstitute under reduced light and hold aliquots cold and dark.

Reconstitution
3 mL bacteriostatic or sterile water for a standard bench stock
Stock concentration
≈ 16.7 mg/mL (50 mg ÷ 3 mL)
Storage once reconstituted
2–8 °C, amber vial or foil-wrapped, protected from light
Stability window
Use reconstituted stock within 14 days at 2–8 °C; freeze single-use aliquots at −20 °C for longer holds
  1. 1 · Equilibrate before opening

Let the sealed vial reach room temperature before breaking the seal. Opening a cold vial draws in moisture, and lyophilised peptide is hygroscopic.

  2. 2 · Add diluent down the wall

Direct the diluent slowly against the inside wall of the vial rather than onto the powder cake. A fast stream shears the peptide and lowers recovery.

  3. 3 · Dissolve, never shake

Swirl or roll gently until the cake is fully dissolved. Vortexing or shaking foams the solution and denatures peptide at the air–liquid interface.

  4. 4 · Inspect the solution

A correctly reconstituted stock is clear and free of visible particulate. Cloudiness, fibres, or a film indicates the stock should be discarded.

  5. 5 · Aliquot for single use

Split the stock into single-use aliquots in low-bind tubes and label each with compound, concentration, LOT and date. Repeated freeze–thaw is the most common cause of lost potency.

  6. 6 · Record against the CoA

Log the LOT number and the batch Certificate of Analysis reference alongside your results so every data point is traceable to a tested batch.

Figures above are worked examples for bench preparation only. Always calculate your own working concentrations from the strength printed on the vial, the exact diluent volume you added, and the batch assay result on the Certificate of Analysis.

Safety & handling cautions

  • Minimise light exposure at every step — discolouration indicates degradation.
  • Avoid contact with metal implements that may catalyse oxidation of the stock.
  • Wear appropriate PPE, work in a clean and controlled area, and dispose of vials, sharps and unused stock in line with your institution’s waste procedures.

In depth

GHK-Cu in Australia — research notes

GHK-Cu is the copper-binding tripeptide glycyl-histidyl-lysine, supplied at 50mg for Australian dermal, follicle and matrix-remodelling research.

  • Copper-bound tripeptide (Gly-His-Lys), 50mg per vial
  • Solutions are visibly blue — the copper complex
  • Studied in dermal fibroblast and follicle models

A copper complex, not a plain peptide

GHK carries a copper(II) ion with very high affinity, and the complex — not the bare tripeptide — is what drives the collagen, elastin and metalloproteinase signalling reported in dermal fibroblast cultures. Expect a distinctly blue solution on reconstitution; that colour is the copper complex.

Skin and hair models

Published work spans dermal fibroblast collagen synthesis, hair-follicle dermal papilla proliferation and wound-matrix remodelling, which is why GHK-Cu sits in our skin and hair range beside Melanotan II and Snap-8 research material.

Handling the 50mg format

The larger fill suits topical-formulation and multi-plate work. Every vial ships from our Australian storage and dispatch facility with a lot-matched certificate of analysis and cold-chain packaging.

Questions

GHK-Cu 50mg — frequently asked

What is GHK-Cu?+

A naturally occurring copper-binding tripeptide with decades of dermatological research behind it. Investigated for: • Skin firmness, elasticity and collagen synthesis • Wound healing and post-procedure recovery • Hair follicle stimulation and density • Antioxidant and anti-inflammatory action Supplied as lyophilised powder in sterile glass. Aussie Peptides supplies GHK-Cu strictly as an in-vitro laboratory reference material — it is not a therapeutic good and is not for human or veterinary use.

How pure is Aussie Peptides GHK-Cu?+

Each GHK-Cu lot is analysed by RP-HPLC for purity and by mass spectrometry for identity, and is released against a ≥99% purity specification. The result belongs to that lot: the number printed on your vial maps to its own Certificate of Analysis, so the figure can be recorded alongside your experimental data rather than assumed.

How is GHK-Cu 50mg reconstituted and stored in the lab?+

3 mL bacteriostatic or sterile water for a standard bench stock That gives a working stock of roughly ≈ 16.7 mg/mL (50 mg ÷ 3 mL). Reconstituted vials are held at 2–8 °c, amber vial or foil-wrapped, protected from light, and use reconstituted stock within 14 days at 2–8 °c; freeze single-use aliquots at −20 °c for longer holds Sealed lyophilised 50mg vials are stable long-term at -20°C.

Is it legal to buy GHK-Cu in Australia?+

GHK-Cu is supplied in Australia for in-vitro laboratory research only. It is not approved by the TGA as a therapeutic good and is not sold for human or veterinary consumption. Purchasers must be 18 or over and are responsible for handling, storage and disposal under their own institutional and legal requirements.

How much is GHK-Cu 50mg and how fast does it ship?+

GHK-Cu 50mg is $99.00. It is in stock and dispatched same business day on orders placed before 12pm AEST. Shipping is A$12.95 express Australia-wide and free over A$199, sent discreetly packaged and fully tracked, typically 1–3 business days.

What does the research on GHK-Cu investigate?+

Published work on this class focuses on collagen synthesis, copper transport, melanocortin receptor activity and dermal remodelling in laboratory models. Nothing on this page is a dosing protocol, medical advice, or a claim of therapeutic benefit — it summarises what the published literature examines.
